Free State hailstorm closes roads
A heavy hail storm between Winburg and Aldam in the Free State on Friday 28 February caused roads to be inaccessible and teams of workers had to clear the way for traffic.
Jennifer le Roux thanked EMS Free State on its Facebook Group page, for clearing the hail from the roads and making it safe for motorists to use. She shared these pictures showing ‘Mrs Z.Engelbrecht’ and her team clearing the scene, adding that she is a ‘true hero’ and ‘always available 24/7 to save lives and go beyond the call of duty.’
