Virgin Holidays will be sending one lucky person on a free trip to Jamaica in exchange for one week of bartending work. The owner of Pelican Bar, Floyd Forbes, has not had a break since the bar opened in 2001 and is searching for a stand-in.
The successful applicant will have flights and accommodation for seven nights paid for by Virgin Holidays. In exchange, the chosen candidate will need to work at this unique bar in the middle of the Caribbean Sea serving delicious rum-based cocktails.
The bar is located approximately 1.6km off the coast of Jamaica and stands on stilts in the sea.
Pelican Bar is only accessible by boat and many locals are happy to transfer visitors to the bar from the mainland.
