The Kruger National Park is flooding Posted by Imogen Searra on 12 February 2020 The Kruger has received an abundance of rain, causing many parts of the park to flood. The north in particular has been heavily affected by the rain. SANParks management have called for visitors to be extra cautious and to avoid all gravel roads until further notice. SANParks announced an update on the camps, picnic sites and gravel roads that have been closed: Nyalaland Wilderness Trail Sirheni Bush Camp Bateleur Bush Camp (only accessible via Nkokodzi turn-off) Balule Camp Talamati Bush Camp Pafuri Gate Tshokwane & Muzandzeni Picnic Sites In a Tweet, SANParks said: ‘Sand River low water bridge inaccessible. All gravel roads in the Nxanatseni (north) Region of the Park from Pafuri to Letaba will be closed; with exception of Giriyondo gravel road as it will be operational but monitored closely and a few others depending on the developments. Croiser la route du Roi de la savane, juste nous 3 dans notre voiture de location dans ce park mythique, là où les animaux vivent dans leur habitat naturel, foulant les 20 000km2 de cet espace protégé . On s’était résignés avec la météo à ne pas croiser beaucoup d’animaux, on venait de finir de déjeuner en se faisant la remarque que c’était une journée « sans » et qu il était temps de reprendre la route de l’hôtel quand soudain il fit son apparition au milieu de la route, là si majestueux. Alice avait les yeux écarquillés elle était trop heureuse de voir Mufasa 🙈.Bref notre journée « sans » s’est transformée en une journée incroyable et inoubliable.
