Earlier this month we shared some snapshots of the snow from around SA, while this past weekend the Western Cape experienced snow again on the peaks of Ceres, Wellington, Worcester, as well as the Matroosberg where the snow has reportedly reached ground level.
Richard (no surname given) from Snow Report SA reported live on Facebook earlier today, from Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve in the Koue Bokkeveld (Cederberg), to say that there had been some flurries but not much snow in that area. He said that he would be moving on to the Matroosberg where there have been reports of lots of snow and he would be doing another live report from here.
Cape Canopy Tour , situated in the Hottentos Holland Nature Reserve, has posted an unusual photo of a King Protea with a snowy cap to its social media channels and reported that much of the snow has melted on the ground because of today’s rain, but that tomorrow should be clear if you’d like to zipline through snow covered peaks.
