Seeing all of the Seven Wonders of the World may seem like a somewhat far-fetched aspiration to some of us – something we say we’ll do ‘one day’. However, thanks to one tour company, doing this may be far more easily achievable. On The Go Tours has carefully designed a 31-day package that takes travellers on the adventure of a lifetime.
Starting in Rome and ending in Rio, travellers will get to visit each of the Seven New Wonders as well as the last remaining ancient wonder: the Pyramids of Giza. A visit to the Sphinx and the Egyptian National Museum is also on the itinerary, giving the tour group an all-encompassing tour of this ancient land.
Those who join the 31-day tour will have the opportunity to meander and marvel at the beauty of each location at their leisure while learning about their rich histories. Included in the trip are 27 breakfasts, arrival transfer on day 1 and departure transfer on day 31, entrance fees to all of the sites, 27 nights’ accommodation in three-five-star hotels, all transportation, and relevant transfers in a private vehicle.
Additionally, there will be guided sightseeing as per the itinerary in Rome, Cairo, Petra, Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal, Delhi, Beijing, The Great Wall of China, Chichen Itza, Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu, and Rio De Janeiro. Every tour will be led by an English-speaking tour guide.
The onus is on travellers to arrange their visas, as this won’t be organsied by the company. However, if you need information about visa requirements, the company will provide you with the necessary details. Additionally, the Rome City Tax (€6 per person per night) will also need to be paid individually, when in Rome.
Other things not included are tips; these are personal gestures and therefore can’t be included on behalf of each traveller in the tour package cost. Tipping is at the discretion of the traveller. International flights are also not included in the package but can be arranged through the company’s reservation team.
The New Seven Wonders of the World were chosen in 2007. The New7Wonders Foundation based in Zurich, Switzerland had over 200 incredible sites to vote for and over 100 million people submitted their choices. The chosen sights were selected with the aim of representing a global heritage. The New Seven wonders are:
- Great Wall of China (China)
- Christ the Redeemer Statue (Rio de Janeiro)
- Machu Picchu (Peru)
- Chichen Itza (Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico)
- The Roman Colosseum (Rome)
- Taj Mahal (Agra, India)
- Ancient Ruins of Petra (Jordan)
If visiting eight countries and seeing the Seven Wonders of the world, as well as the last remaining ancient wonder, is on your bucket-list, then be sure to visit On The Go Tours website for more information.
