New route for Zambezi Airlines

Posted by Sarah Keevy on 29 July 2011

Victoria Falls and the other wonders of Zambia have never been easier to reach now that Zambezi Airlines is flying direct to Livingstone from Cape Town.

With three weekly direct flights to Livingstone, you can now have an extra half-day in the awesome adventure-packed town of Livingstone. No stopovers means that within three hours of taking off, you can touch down by 11h00 and start your holiday or business trip.

The great thing about Zambezi Airlines Boeing 737-500 planes is also the space – forget spending three hours feeling like a sardine. As a fairly tall individual, I always seem to have my legs jammed into the back of seat in front on me, not so on these spacious crafts.

Booking your ticket also couldn’t be easier. There is a choice of booking online at www.flyzambezi.com or calling the Cape Town office on tel 021-427-1903 or the Joburg office on tel 011-390 -1155 / 1791/2826.

The flights depart Cape Town for Livingstone every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 08h00. Return flights from Livingstone to Cape Town depart every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday and 14h00.

Yet another reason to board a flight is a great launch offer by Zambezi Airlines and Three Cities. Until 31 October, if you book a flight to Livingstone on Zambezi Airlines, you can stay at The David Livingstone Safari Spa and Lodge from only R1440 a person a night sharing, or stay at the Thorntree River Lodge from R1720 a person a night sharing. These rates include a tour of Victoria Falls and a sunset cruise on the Zambezi.

You now have no excuse no to explore the wonders Zambia has to offer including Victoria Falls, lion walks, elephant safaris and Zambezi cruises!
