Beaches in the Port Alfred area have been reopened by the Ndlambe Municipal authorities following a shark attack just off East Beach yesterday morning.
Ndlambe Municipal authorities and NSRI continue to urge bathers, surfers and paddlers to be cautious in light of the incident on Wednesday 10 July, and a safety advisory remains in place.
Those visiting South Africa’s beaches are reminded to always be safety conscious and alert.
