Explorers can now mix up their safari experience, swapping out a 4×4 for a safari train between Vic Falls and Bulawayo.
Taylors Africa Mobile Safaris (TAMS) has launched the route for guests who are keen to try something a little different.
The train is made up of six compartments and carries between 10 and 12 guests. It is equipped with running water, showers, beds, ablution facilities and electricity.
Travellers will have beds made up for them and can eat, drink and socialise in the dining car.
There is a one-night, one-way trip option or a two-night roundtrip option. Both single and round trip includes a full day’s game drive in Hwange National Park with food, drinks and sundowners.
A single trip will cost $350 (around R5000) per person, while a round trip will cost $600 (around R9000).
