We tested some very rugged solar panels fit for the wildest of wild camping in Getaway’s February 2015 issue (you can find the full reviews on page 120). This was our favourite.

Since our test, Flexopower have developed a more compact, folding system that packs flat (instead of rolling up). This new system saves even more space and fits easily into an ammo box.
