You will find the aptly named Paradise Beach Lodge on the pristine Pomene coastline between Inhambane and Vilanculos. The lodge is situated on a fine stretch of sand along the saltwater estuary leading into the sea, and is a must for water-sport enthusiasts who enjoy the likes of SUPing, windsurfing, kayaking, snorkelling or kitesurfing. This is also one of the best gamefishing destinations in Mozambique, where even experienced anglers have their skills tested.
You can bring your own boat or jet ski, which will be moored in front of the beach bungalows for the duration of your stay. Or the lodge has its own boats for deep-sea charters, snorkelling and estuary cruises.
Footprint Restaurant is set on the water’s edge, where you can enjoy three meals a day. Our in-house baker ensures guests have hot pão (bread) each morning in true Mozambican style. Later, sit and enjoy a cocktail on the shady deck while your children frolic in the calm estuary. mozambiquelodgeaccommmodation.com
