The slim Enroute Camera Bag from Thule looks and feels like a normal day pack. The big difference is that it has a couple of padded compartments for camera gear. A zip on the side of the bag opens into a hard-cased pocket, ensuring your camera stays protected and can be accessed quickly in the adjustable dividers. Make sure your camera can slide into this pocket (cameras with long lenses won’t fit). The top of the backpack has ‘crush-proof protection’ – a safe spot for an extra lens, while a slip pocket does the same for a small laptop of up to 13″. There’s also a side pocket for a small tripod. Space is limited, so for professional photographers on a long trip it’s probably best to stick to a bigger bag. But if you want a daypack with space for a camera, it will work perfectly.
