It seems the remaining South African carriers are broadening their flight paths to cover more SA destinations directly from major cities, more often. The latest is kulula.com, now offering flights from O.R. Tambo to East London.
From 28 November 2012 customers can start booking seats on this route, with the first flight taking place on 1 March 2013 on their new 189-seater Boeing 737-800. There will be two flights daily flying in and out of East London, to and from O.R. Tambo International.
Nadine Damen, Marketing Manager for kulula.com says, “We have introduced this route to meet the demand for flights in and out of East London, and to support the economic growth of the Eastern Cape. We are thrilled to be able to address this need for our kulula fans, by making it easier and more affordable to fly to and from East London.”
kulula.com will also be increasing the frequency of flights between Johannesburg and George, and between Johannesburg and Durban to satisfy demand. For flight bookings, visit www.kulula.com or call the kulula contact centre on 0861 KULULA (585852), or contact your local travel agent.
