Connected by trail Posted on 4 June 2019 Trail running is one of the fastest-growing sports around. And if you are looking for a scenically stunning place to do it, it doesn’t get much better than the Western Cape mountains. Wesgro recently teamed up with top local trail-runners Ryan Sandes, Meg Mackenzie, Stu McConnachie and Nic Rupanga to create the Connected by Trail video series. Made up of four 60-second videos, and an eight-minute documentary – with interviews by the four runners – the series shows the world just how incredible – and diverse – the Western Cape trails are, some just a few minute’s drive from the city. You’ll be lacing up your Solomons to get out into the fynbos, mist and sunrises after seeing this.
