Canon reveals the Rebel SL1: World's lightest and smallest DSLR
Canon has officially announced the Rebel SL1 and it is to be the world’s lightest and smallest DSLR camera.
Canon Rebel SL1
This camera is going to be smaller than its larger Rebel counterpart and a little bigger than the EOS M mirrorless camera. The camera boasts an 18-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor that has an ISO range of 100 to 12800. It’ll also have a nine-point focus system and full HD movie to keep up other DSLR competitors. This camera can also shoot continuously at up to four frames per second.

No news yet of it when it will hit South African stores, but it’s said to cost $649 for body only overseas, that’s roughly R6000 at the current rates.
We’ll keep you posted.
