Tested: Butte torch tongs

These Butte torch tongs have been around for a while, but definitely deserve another mention. Tongs with a built-in torch – brilliant!

The design is the simple solution to asking your mate to hold the torch every five minutes and you can both enjoy your beers instead. The batteries are easy to change and it’s a proudly South African product (we really like braais).

I think the tongs could do with ‘teeth’ to grip better, but otherwise it does the job well.
