Celebrate mom with a glass of bubbly paired with freshly-shucked oysters, a cold selection of local well-matured cheeses and tacos filled with crusted linefish, whisky-glazed pulled pork and smoked beans with chorizo.
There’ll also be kataifi chicken breasts filled with basil, pine nuts and parmesan, and shiny bacon glazed with pepper, thyme and maple syrup.To round off the lunch, there’ll be an opulent dessert counter with soft flapjacks made to order and a mouthwatering selection of homemade ice creams, as well as a variety of sweet tartlets, fruit verrines and chocolate torte.

The Devonshire Hotel in Braamfontein will be hosting a special Mother’s Day lunch on Sunday, 12 May 2019 from 12pm-3pm.
The menu includes kliftikko leg of lamb, served with tzatzikki sauce, pork ossobucco served with polenta and seared Greek chicken with mushroom and artichoke sauce. There will also be salads, sides and desserts, of course.

Celebrate Mother’s Day at The Cellars-Hohenort Hotel with a luxurious lunch at The Conservatory on 12 May. Enjoy a leisurely stroll with your mom in the historic gardens before heading back to the restaurant, where a glass of chilled bubbles await before lunch.
