Lamb meatballs with tzatziki recipe
Ingredients for the meatballs
- 500 g lamb mince
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp finely chopped, fresh rosemary
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp crushed garlic
Ingredients for the tzatziki
- A cup of Greek yoghurt (or any thick plain yoghurt)
- Half a cucumber, chopped into small pieces
- 1 tsp crushed garlic
Combine all the meatball ingredients and form into small balls. Fry them in batches in oil on medium heat for a few minutes, turning until browned. To make the tzatziki, combine all the ingredients, season with salt and pepper, and serve in a bowl with slices of cucumber on top.
Tip
Spice up the meatball mix with two teaspoons of crushed chilli flakes.
