Figs wrapped in Parma ham recipe Posted by Sarah Duff on 19 November 2010 Figs wrapped in Parma ham recipe. Ingredients 8 ripe black figs, sliced in half A knob of butter 2 tsp brown sugar 70g of thinly sliced cured ham or Parma ham Cooking method Melt the butter in a pan on a low heat and add the sugar and the figs, sliced side down. Fry the figs for a few minutes or until slightly softened and caramelised. Remove from the heat and leave to cool slightly. Wrap a piece of ham around each fig and serve.
