Free marine biology course at Two Oceans Aquarium

The Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town is offering grade 10, 11 and 12 learners a chance to study marine biology for free, while furthering their Physical Science and Life Science knowledge. The course has a capacity of 50 learners and aims to equip them with basic principles and terminology in marine sciences.

According to Two Oceans Aquarium, the course provides learners who want to study marine sciences at tertiary level with vital information and a well-informed knowledge base on specific concepts and terms.

The course will teach learners about the phytoplankton, algae and animal phyla found in South Africa’s waters. The course is packed with theory and balanced with interactions and practical investigations with many of the organisms.
