Malealea Lodge, Lesotho
Posted on 3 February 2009
Nothing could have topped the emotional atmosphere felt by each and every one of the crew as we sat in a close circle amidst a forest in the Malealea Village.
The air an icy cold, we were in total awe of our surroundings. The angelic voices of a Sesotho choir and the harmonics of homemade instruments set the mood. And it was here, sitting in front of the most majestic mountain range crowned a brilliant white from the recent snow-fall, that we found our egos give way to the fact that we were about to embark on a life-changing experience – a journey into the hearts of countries we had not yet been to a journey that would remain etched in our memories forever.
