Carl Sagan once said, 'We are a way for the Cosmos to know itself', and with that in mind I have set about trying to know all that I possibly can. Exploration has always been my forte which, combined with my insatiable curiosity, has led me far and wide from the tropical coasts of Thailand and South Africa to the icy waters of Lake Baikal and the Finnish Gulf. Whether it's standing in awe of the Gobi Desert or spying on anemones in rock pools I am always at my happiest when learning something new.
