I love to explore my own backyard: the jagged rock ridges of the Cederberg mountains, the luscious beaches of the Wild Coast, and even the Kameeldoring bushveld of Limpopo province. Occasionally, however, I venture farther (much farther) up north. But whether going to Calvinia or Khartoum, I always carry my notebooks along. I’m a writer by profession and by habit. I make my living as a copywriter, with some travel and creative writing on the side.
