Victoria Falls at dawn – last day in Livingstone
Today is my last day in Livingstone, and I couldn’t not see Victoria Falls one last time. I got up early to catch the sunrise. The entrance to the falls opened at 06h00, just as it started getting light.
Dawn is definitely the best time to see the falls – there’s no one else around, and it’s surreally beautiful. The sun turns clouds of mist faintly pink and rainbows gleam in the soft light. It was an exceptionally still morning, and because of the lack of wind, there was less billowing mist than last time. I managed to get some better shots of the falls, which before were almost completely obscured by mist.
It was an amazing way to end off my Livingstone trip.
