Camembert and cranberry bites recipe Posted by Sarah Duff on 22 November 2010 Makes around 14 circles. Ingredients A roll of puff pastry, defrosted A wheel of Camembert cheese Cranberry sauce or jelly 1 egg, beaten Cooking method Roll out the puff pastry on a floured work surface until it’s the thickness of a R5 coin. Cut out circles in the pastry using a glass. Brush each circle with beaten egg and place on a baking sheet on a baking tray. Bake in a 180C oven for about 10 minutes, or until puffed and golden. Take them out of the oven and on each circle smear a teaspoon of cranberry sauce or jelly and place a wedge of Camembert on top. Put them back in the oven for about 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling.
