Day 15: a new project – Life 2 the limit blog

Posted by Joe Starke on 18 April 2010

Started a new woodwork project – a present for Nick’s birthday – and it’s certainly keeping me busy, which is good.

Greetings all readers and thanks again for the support. It’s very exciting to have reached half way, and I think psychologically it’s important for us all as we can now begin to count down instead of up.

However, as Saul remarked to me today, ‘it would be sad to wish this time away’ – a mistake I often make in normal life – as despite the difficulty, there is much to be gained from being here.

Luckily everyone is still in relatively good health and there have yet to be any serious medical accidents!
I’m missing food a great deal, from simple things like a ham and cheese sandwich to elaborate, multi-course feasts that I dream up in my head.

Certainly I am beginning to understand how difficult it can be to function well when hungry, which re-affirms my choice of the Peninsula School Feeding Association as my charity. Don’t forget donations are still open and we hope to raise as much as possible.
