Free Canon expo this Friday

If you missed the Photo and Film expo this year, don’t worry – Canon is holding their own expo in Sandton, Johiannesburg.

And it’s free.

The Canon expo will be held at the Sandton Convention Centre from the 29th of November to the 1st of December and will be open daily from 10:00 to 18:00.

So, what can you expect? A showcase of Canon’s photography products, on-site photographic training (so bring your gear), discounted Canon goods and talented gear-categories African speakers giving the lowdown on all things photo.

Hosted by 18 local photography experts speaker sessions run daily during the expo and cover several topics including wildlife; sharks & ocean; portrait; action; birding; photo walking and blogging.

A photographic competition will also run in tandem to the event and you can enter one or more of the competition categories for a chance of winning fantastic prizes.
