Once again the fine folks at Cape Union Mart bring us the celluloid adrenaline rush that is the Banff Mountain Film World Tour. I wish I’d taken a pic of his face when Nick Bennett, K-Way marketing manager was telling me about it a few weeks ago. This film festival is incredibly popular with South Africans, and has sold out in Cape Town and Johannesburg every year since its inception. If the trailer, and the grin he was rocking, is anything to go by then this one is going to be epic indeed.

The festival of mountain culture will screen once daily at selected Ster Kinekors around South Africa from Friday 28 October to Thursday 3 November. Tickets are available at selected Ster Kinekor cinemas nationwide, visit the website for more details.
