The cutest thing you’ll see today: a desert rain frog

When thinking of cute animals we’re generally inclined to think puppies, kittens and other forms of fluff-with-a-head-and-feet. And although those tend to be the most ‘aaaw’-inducing animals, this little thing below is definitely fighting with the fluffiest of them.

The desert rain frog lives in a 10km stretch of Namibian desert that runs along the coast, making this tiny little thing a very rare little thing as well. If you’ve seen the BBC Africa series, you’ve already marveled at its cuteness, but there’s no reason why you shouldn’t indulge once more.
