White lions at Timbavati Private Nature Reserve
In December I had the opportunity to visit and shoot Umlani Game Lodge. Normally, I don’t have much luck in the bush with regards to seeing amazing sightings, but on this particular day I got lucky. As the sun was setting we came across a pride of lions lazing about in the last rays of sunshine for the day. Luckily for me, they were the white lions of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve.
Christie Fynn wrote a very interesting article on The White Lions of the Timbavati at the end of last year, explaining why, how and when these animals came about. They truly are amazing creatures to see in the wild.
