Gorgeous travel video: time lapse of Morocco

Posted by Kati Auld on 5 September 2013

I suspect that everyone has some travel desire to visit Morocco hidden in their minds somewhere, like a sad wedge of cheese in the back of the fridge (just with more awesome, and less green fur.) If you’re one of these people, I suggest that you bend down and tie your shoelaces together before watching this video, because your natural urge will be to run – not walk – to the nearest desert-bound plane.

Vincent Urban, Clemens Kruger and Stefan Templer spent three weeks wheeling around Morocco, from the coast, over the Atlas Mountains, to the Sahara desert. On the way they managed to capture sweeping starscapes, the bustle of medinas in Marrakesh, the crunch of cracked parched earth underfoot, the calm of pouring tea from an exquisite silver teapot, local acrobats, and the exploding-heart feeling of freedom that one can only get through travel.

Got your shoelaces tied? Okay. Watch this. (It gets particularly awesome around 3:03.)

In Morocco – 2013 from Vincent Urban on Vimeo. We recommend checking out their other videos, too: there’s a gorgeous one from South America!
