SANParks calls for action against vandalism
SANPArks officials are imploring visitors not to vandalise the Park’s property, as one team posted pictures of signage covered in stickers on Facebook group SANParks – Garden Route (Tsitsikamma, Knysna & Wilderness) National Park.
The team stated how they spent all weekend trying to remove these stickers.
‘Note to visitors: Please do not engrave any message or icon on any Park signage. In future, rangers will escalate the matter to SAPS and it may also lead to a hefty fine as it constitutes vandalism,’ the post reads.
