The restaurant of every cheese-lovers dream has opened in London.
According to CNN, Pick & Cheese, which just launched in Covent Garden, boasts a 40-meter conveyor-belt which supplies an endless rotation of locally made cheeses.
Claiming to be the first of it’s kind in the world, this the second cheese-themed restaurant by Mathew Carver who has already established his first, The Cheese Bar, in Camden.
‘In our Camden restaurant, our customers always want to pick different cheeses from our house list, and create their own bespoke cheeseboard,’ he told Lonely Planet. ‘We wanted to come up with a way to offer this, whilst showcasing the cheeses at their very best.’

The 25 varieties of cheese are colour-coded by price or guests can order the pre-selected ‘cheese flight’. These can be paired from the specially curated wine list and selected condiments to compliment each cheese.
There are also off-belt dishes including pan-fried angloumi and a four-cheese grilled sandwich.
‘At Pick & Cheese, we want to show that the cheese and wine bars don’t have to be boring and can be enjoyed by everyone, whether you’re dropping in for a quick plate of British cheese and a glass of something unusual, or settling in for a cheese flight and a bottle of natural wine,’ Carver told CNN
