Wildebeest 4×4 Challenge Club offers a space for 4×4 enthusiasts and their families to enjoy time together both on and off the track.
The club, based in Cape Town, hosts between six and eight events per year, each event consisting of 10 challenging obstacles that competitors need to work their way through to score points.
There are eight different classes to compete in, varying from stock standard 4x4s to super-modified hand-built monster rock crawlers. Currently, the biggest class is the open class, which caters for less experienced drivers. It’s really for any driver who is looking to have a bit of fun.
All drivers are welcome to participate and to join Wildebeest 4×4 Challenge Club.
Remaining event dates for 2019 are: 1 June, 6 July, 3 August, 7 September and 16 November.
The event on 1 June will be held at the scenic Dirt & Dust track just outside Durbanville.
Club members who accumulate points at these challenges will be eligible for the Wildebeest Championship, where winners are awarded with trophies at the annual prize giving
