Video: the ultimate rush – surviving the Zambezi rapids in a kayak
Adventure is the opium of the curious and the daring. It feeds our need to escape our mundane lives and dwell in the world of infinite possibilities. That is probably what Steve Fisher, Dale Jardine and Sam Drevo thought as they dragged their kayaks down to face the vicious rapids on the Zambezi River.
Surviving the rapids in Nyaminyami’s backyard is no child’s play. The rapids come in full force as they seek to swallow the kayakers. However, they survived and in the process, upped the ante for white water-rafting.
